On September 11, 2015, Denny Darmodihardjo (CRD# 2589997) accepted and consented to FINRA’s allegations that he engaged in excessive trading of three customer accounts, as well as recommended unsuitable margin use and short-selling to a customer. Darmodihardjo was a FINRA-registered broker with Rockwell Global Capital from May 2007 to August 2015. As a result of FINRA’s findings, Darmodihardjo consented to an 18-month suspension in which he cannot perform in any capacity with a FINRA member firm and a fine of $25,000.
Darmodihardjo’s regulatory report shows that this is not the first mark on his record. He has been the subject of 13 customer disputes for various allegations of misconduct during the time he has been a broker. One customer dispute relating to breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, and misrepresentation is currently pending.
