According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Centaurus Financial, Inc. broker and investment adviser Bryon Martinsen (CRD# 1621649) has been the subject of several customer complaints.
Three of customer complaints have already been settled for over $140,000 total. One pending dispute, filed on July 22, 2016, alleges that Centaurus Financial allowed products to be sold that were both unsuitable and not fully reviewed during the due diligence process. The customer is requesting nearly $1.8 million in damages.
Matinsen has been registered with Centaurus Financial, Inc. based out of Northport, NY since October of 1999. He was previously registered with AXA Advisors, LLC based out of New York, NY, and he was terminated form AXA in 1999 for his involvement in an outside business activity which he had previously been advised by the firm to cease and desist.
