The case, which has attracted national attention, involves the recent news that professional golfer Phil Mickelson was part of a government insider trading investigation relating to trades made in shares of Clorox around the time billionaire investor Carl Icahn announced interest in buying the company. Mickelson is now being investigated to determine if he profited from information about the offer not made available to the public.
