On January 2, Gregory Merrick (CRD# 2933448) was issued an order to cease and desist. His investment adviser and investment adviser representative licenses were also revoked.

On January 27, Eric T. House (CRD# 1984306) was issued a Notice of Opportunity for Hearing as well as a Notice of Intent to Issue a Cease and Desist Order.
Janet Combs
On January 14, Janet Combs was sentenced to five years’ community control after pleading no contest to one count of receiving stolen property (Case #B1304 320, Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas). Combs pastors The Ark by the River Fellowship Ministry located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Combs was being investigated for her role as a co-conspirator in a case involving former Representative Peter Beck and John Fussner. Beck and Fussner faced accusations that they stole millions of investor dollars by funneling the funds into various accounts – one of those accounts belonging to Combs.
