The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has permanently barred former Fifth Third Securities, Inc. broker Nathan D. Bartow (CRD# 4805130) from the securities industry.
On April 25, 2016, Fifth Third Securities reported that Bartow’s employment with the firm was terminated for failing to provide complete information over outside business activities. The customer filed a complaint, alleging that Bartow negligently managed and converted $500,000 of their investment assets.
During the FINRA investigation into the allegations, FINRA Enforcement staff set a letter on May 25 requesting that Bartow provide information and documents by June 2. His counsel informed FINRA that he would not provide the requested information or documents, which resulted in his permanent bar.
Bartow was registered with Fifth Third Securities based out of Barberton, OH from March of 2013 to April of 2016. He was previously registered with:
- CCO Investment Services Corp. based out of Canton, OH
- Charter One Securities, Inc. based out of Cleveland, OH
