Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Cleveland Office Stephen D. Anthony and United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio Carole S. Rendon announced that eight people were sentenced to prison for their involvement in an investment fraud scheme that cost investors approximately $39 million in losses.
Two more co-conspirators will have hearings later in 2017.
According to the US Attorney and FBI, de Maison worked with his co-conspirators to defraud investors by running a classic pump-and-dump scheme. To learn more about how these schemes operate, please visit our investor education website.
