What Two Decades of Class Action Work Looks Like
Matt joined Meyer Wilson Werning in 2006 after six years defending some of the world’s largest corporations at Jones Day and Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease LLP. That background was not incidental. Understanding how the defense thinks shaped how he approaches the plaintiff’s side of complex litigation.
Since making that switch, he has built a national practice spanning mass torts, securities fraud, consumer protection, and the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Courts across the country have appointed him as class counsel in TCPA cases, and the settlements in which he has served as class counsel total over $300 million in cash for consumers.
