According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), former Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith broker Landon Williams (CRD# 1751467) is the subject of a FINRA disciplinary proceeding.
Williams allegedly had conversations with customers over the phone where he made misleading and/or false statements, while also allegedly failing to disclose relevant information about the transactions he recommended to those customers. According to FINRA, Williams also made false statements in his firm’s customer relationship management software application about the discussions he had with customers, including what information he disclosed to them.
Williams was discharged from Merrill Lynch in August 2014 based on “allegations that the registered representative failed to make disclosures related to mutual fund transactions and made inaccurate entries into an internal system utilized to track client interactions.”
He was registered with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated based out of Jacksonville, FL from August of 2013 to September of 2014. He was previously registered with:
