Former Edward Jones broker Anthony C. Gray (CRD# 6094760) submitted a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent on October 19, 2015 in response to allegations from FINRA of misappropriating customer funds. Gray became a registered representative with Edward Jones in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in July of 2013 and was terminated on October 8, 2015.
According to FINRA’s allegations against Gray, he misappropriated the funds of two elderly customers at Edward Jones from December 2013 through September 2015. Gray allegedly convinced the elderly customers to pull money from their accounts with the firm and put it into their own personal banking account. He then allegedly asked them to give him blank checks that were supposed to be used pay for their Edward Jones account fees. He allegedly took the blank checks and made them payable to himself and/or a business with which he was affiliated before using the funds for his own expenses.
By submitting the Letter of Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent, Gary consents to the sanctions imposed, including a bar from associating with any FINRA member in any capacity.
