  4. Representative sounds confident about the money that will be made
  5. Representative is dressed for success
  6. Investors are encouraged to refer friends and family members
  7. Investment is complex or involves a little known product
  8. Representative avoids answering questions
  9. Third-party reviews (such as by a lawyer) are discouraged
  10. Nothing is in writing
