About
Doug Molnar is the Operations Manager at Meyer Wilson Werning, where he oversees the systems, staffing, and daily processes that keep the firm running smoothly for the investors it represents. He joined the firm in October 2025, bringing more than three decades of leadership experience across financial services, regulatory compliance, and military operations.
Before joining the firm, Doug spent his career in operational roles at some of the largest names in the brokerage industry, including Osaic, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan Securities. That background gives him a perspective very few law firm operations leaders have. He understands from the inside how brokerage firms are structured, how their compliance and supervisory functions are supposed to work, and what it takes to hold them to their own standards. At a firm built on representing investors harmed by the securities industry, that insider fluency is a real asset.

Doug is also a veteran of the United States Army, where he served for 21 years in explosive ordnance disposal and recruiting operations. EOD work leaves no room for a margin of error, and the discipline, accountability, and risk mitigation instincts he developed there still shape how he approaches every process he builds. He has a habit of asking what could go wrong before anyone else does, which is exactly the habit you want in the person running your operations. Doug earned his bachelor’s degree in Technical Management from Devry University.
Clients rarely meet Doug directly, but they feel his work in the details: documents where they are supposed to be, deadlines met, and a case that moves. He views the operational side of the firm as a form of client service in its own right, because the faster and more reliably the firm runs, the sooner an investor gets their money back.
Outside of the office, Doug is an avid runner who logs miles on both the roads and the extensive trail system throughout Columbus, Ohio. He also takes every opportunity he can to travel.
